Day 01.
We Rest.

Arrive and settle into the retreat space, welcomed with a gentle beginning that marks the start of our time together. We’ll open in circle, share in connection, and move through an evening filled with love and laughter. The night will close with a sacred offering—an invitation to rest deeply, a moment to exhale, release, and begin the journey renewed.

Day 02.
We Rise.

This day unfolds gently, giving you space to wake and move at your own pace. Together, we’ll gather for shared experienceswine tastings, group dinner, and guided discussions that invite us to unpack and rise. The evening will end with a special offering—an invitation designed to lift you higher. This is a chance to rise, not just for the night, but in the way you carry yourself forward.

Day 03.
We Reclaim.

This day is about moving from reflection into action—practicing what it means to reclaim your time and stepping fully into that power. Together, we’ll integrate the lessons of rest and rise, anchoring them as tools for your future and your career. The day will culminate in a celebratory dinner, a beautiful occasion to dress with intention and honor what we’ve shed while embracing all that we are reclaiming moving forward.

Day 04.
We Depart.

Our final day offers a gentle close to our time together—a chance to linger in rest before we return home. The morning invites space for reflection, quiet integration, and carrying forward the lessons of rest, rise, and reclaim. As we prepare to depart, we’ll hold space to honor the journey we’ve shared, ensuring that the restoration found here travels with you into your everyday work and life.

JOIN ME AT THE NEXT RETREAT!

I’m Asya WatkinsFounder of Women Of Project Management®, global keynote speaker, Forbes-featured leader in equity, and author of The Little Black Book of Project Management Advice. This retreat was born from that book—an invitation to take its lessons off the page and into real life. I also happen to be a Certified Wellness Practitioner.

For years, I attended leadership, wellness, and spiritual retreats where I was often the only Black woman in the room. The Women Of Project Management® Fall Rest Retreat is my answer to that—a space created intentionally for us.

Here, you won’t find packed agendas or endless speakers. Instead, you’ll find restoration: moving your body, connecting in nature, sharing soulful dinners, and unpacking what it means to rest, rise, and reclaim in your career and your life. This is an exclusive gathering of a handful of women, hosted only once a year.

This is more than a retreat. It’s a sacred pause to release what no longer serves you, reflect on what this year has already taught, and prepare—mentally, physically, and spiritually—for what’s next. Alongside you, I’ll share my own lessons in business, leadership, and faith, so together we rise stronger.

 Retreat FAQs

  • This retreat is created for Black women and women of the African diaspora who are ready to pause, breathe, and be poured into. In a world that too often demands our constant output, this is a space where rest is celebrated, community is cultivated, and your presence is enough — no titles, deadlines, or to-do lists required. While we proudly center the experiences of those in project management, you do not have to be a project manager to join us. If you value intentional rest, connection, and the company of women who understand the weight you carry and the brilliance you bring, you belong here.

  • If you’ve ever attended a Women Of Project Management® Conference, picture the opposite vibe. Our conferences are high-energy, full-agenda experiences designed for connection, learning, and earning continuing education credits. This retreat is intentionally different — created for slow mornings, open space, and intentional pauses. It’s still about deep connection and meaningful growth, but with the rare luxury of breathing room in between.

No pressure to wear makeup or “be on” all day. We’ll share curated evening experiences, but the pace will be relaxed, intimate, and deeply supportive. This is your space to let your guard down, be fully yourself, and receive the emotional support you didn’t even know you needed — all while exhaling in a setting designed to restore you.

  • This retreat is intentionally designed as an immersive, restorative experience. Instead of traditional workshops, you’ll take part in curated, facilitated sessions, deep guided discussions, and shared experiences such as evening dinners and a private wine tasting. Every element is crafted to spark connection, reflection, and rejuvenation.

  • Your retreat registration covers all curated experiences and listed activities. The following expenses are not included:

    • Hotel accommodations

    • Flights or transportation to/from the retreat

    • Meals at your leisure

    • Spa treatments or optional add-ons outside of the retreat schedule

  • No — hotel accommodations are not included in your retreat registration.

You’ll have the freedom to choose from two on-site options at Château Élan, each just steps from our retreat activities. Book directly with the property — no special code or group link needed:

Choose what feels best for you — and know that wherever you stay, rest is the priority.

  • Fly into Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). Château Élan is approximately 55–56 miles from the airport and typically takes about 1 hour to drive — whether you’re using a rideshare service or driving yourself. We recommend allowing extra travel time to ensure you arrive mid-day (no later than 4:00pm EST) relaxed and ready before the retreat begins.

  • Ground transportation is not included, allowing you the flexibility to arrive on your own schedule and in the way that feels most comfortable for you. Many guests choose to rent a car, arrange a private driver, or take an Uber or Lyft from Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport — a scenic, approximately 1-hour drive to Château Élan.

  • To fully immerse yourself in the experience, we recommend arriving at Château Élan or your chosen hotel on the resort grounds by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time on arrival day. This allows you time to settle in, exhale, and begin your stay feeling unhurried and at ease.

Upon registration, you’ll receive a welcome packet with everything you need to prepare for the retreat. Our goal is for you to step into this experience already relaxed, so you can savor every moment from the very beginning.

  • All retreat payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Because your spot is reserved exclusively for you — and we make all arrangements based on confirmed attendance — we’re unable to offer refunds, credits, or transfers for any reason. This includes illness, travel delays, or personal emergencies.

  • You can reach our team anytime at hello@womenofpm.com. If you’ve already purchased your retreat, you can simply reply to your emailed receipt or welcome email, and we’ll be happy to assist you that way as well.
