This Woman is Dominating Project Management in Construction One Luxury Spanish Villa at a Time
What is a challenge you have overcome as a women in your career?
Being a young woman in project management in a male dominated industry is always a challenge, but to be honest apart from the onsite older builders, my team fully respects me and trusts my decision.
What is your definition of success?
Enjoying your work time more than your free time. Enjoying your work time more than your free time.
Aside from business, tell us more about you?
I love traveling, volleyball, and I have friends around the world.
What is most important to you?
At work: to provide my clients with the best solution and suggestions to improve their projects.
What is your definition of work-life balance?
To be honest I love for my work. I’m always studying new design, solutions, improvement... even in Social media (Facebook, Instagram...) but I normally try to give myself time for my hobbies, travel and family/friends.
How do you de-stress from work?
I train 3 times per week with my volleyball team and I have a volleyball match every week. I’m also very lucky that I actually live on the sea - it’s really peaceful at the end of the day.
I’m a person that's always doing something, thinking of new things and looking for new challenges - I have worked in different countries (Birmingham, UK), (Turin, Italy) and Tetuan, Marroco). I also really appreciate my family, I speak with my mum every day and with my brother and sister. I love traveling the world with my boyfriend and the long weekend breaks with my friends - all of my holidays and money go to traveling. I really love the idea of having an international network to meet new women in project management & engineers to share experiences!
