In the Spotlight: Collaborative Insights with Black Enterprise Magazine

In a recent article by Black Enterprise Magazine, Founder, Asya Watkins, shared all that she has accomplished over the years creating the Women of Project Management community. The feature highlights Asya’s incredible journey in project management and how she got her start.

Asya created the Women of Project Management community out of the pure need for representation in this industry. In her interview with Black Enterprise Magazine, she says, “It’s not a place I would have probably chosen initially because I would not have felt like I belonged there. But when I fell into it, what I found was that I love the work.” I think I can speak for everyone inside the Women of Project Management membership in saying, we are so glad she took the leap of faith to create this community.

Her feature in Black Enterprise Magazine puts a spotlight on how she has made innovative and trailblazing contributions to women of color all over the world.
