2023 Women of Project Management Conference: Meet Your Speakers Part 2

Ordonna Sargeant

Our favorite PM boss Ordonna Sargeant aka @ablackpmp will be present this year and leading the discussion aroud climbing the corporate ladder. Ordonna is a Global Program Manager with American Express, an Adjunct Professor, and the CEO of Sgt Collective

Last year she shared her experience working for Twitter and the lessons learned during that time. She also shared extremely valuable information on how to leverage your skills to negotiate not just your salary, but your total compensation package.

Edi Hayes

Next, get your resumes out and take notes as you hear from HR Queen Edi Hayes. Edi, aka @hercareercafe is a Human Resources expert and knows all about how to help you show up professionally in person and on paper!

She has specific knowledge of project management careers and what it takes to land a role that fits your skills. She is the founder of Her Career Cafe with a commitment to serving Black and LatinX individuals.

Bridgette Jones

Women of Project Management Community Manager, THE Bridgette Jones will be in the building! You all know her, love her and communicate with her often in the WOPM membership.

Last year, she facilitated the mentorship speed dating session at the Women of Project Management conference. This year, Bridgette will be discussing the importance of mentorship for career growth.

Nicole Jones

You will also be graced by our beautiful PM expert and WOPM Creative Director, Nicole Jones. She is the CEO of The PM Suite and will be discussing how to transition from corporate project management to becoming the CEO of your project management business!
